Most survey respondents work between 40 and 50 hours per week (64%), while just over one in five spends 50 or more hours per week at their jobs (21%). Higher workloads align with higher salaries from lower through middle ranges, then drop off at 55–59 and 60+ hour levels.
Respondents from higher-income Asian countries spend the most time in their offices and labs, with 32% working 50 hours or more per week and only 8% working less than 40 hours per week.
