How do you spend a typical day?
I spend my day doing a range of activities from project meetings to consulting on problems to mentoring individuals.
What (if anything) would you change?
My preference would be to be able to maintain more technical involvement of hands-on activities--doing rather than talking about it.
What advice would you give to someone starting their career?
Define your own job. Find an area you are most interested in and work to create a position within that area, but have patience - it takes time.
