Job Description

Join our team, sharing the latest scientific advances in light-based technologies from around the world, including biomedical optics, astronomy, lasers, solar, nanotechnology, and more!  Make a difference doing important work with a successful, international not-for-profit organization.

Full-time, 40 hours per week position available, with flexible work hours.

Description of duties: We are seeking a graphic artist to join our busy, deadline-driven Marketing department. We produce a wide range of graphics projects, utilizing both digital and print, requiring the collaboration with a range of stakeholders within the organization. Both design and production skills are required in the development of promotional and informational pieces, utilizing advanced design, layout, and composition skills.  Our team members manage multiple projects with competing deadlines, and work closely with and in support of our lead design graphic artist.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, communications, marketing communications, or related field, or equivalent, relevant professional experience. Science coursework is a plus. A strong portfolio demonstrating mature artistic skills is required.

Compensation includes:  Competitive wage, annual discretionary bonus, defined contribution retirement plan with additional company match and paid-time-off plan beginning at 31 days per year.
