Summary: We are looking for an accomplished software developer with a deep understanding of machine learning to join the Scanner System R&D team.
Location: 3000 Falls Rd Suite 400 Baltimore MD 21211
Job Responsibilities
You will need hands on C++ and Python skills, and in-depth knowledge of image processing.
The ideal candidate
 works in a mechatronic engineering team to develop AI-based pre- and post-processing software for the imaging system.
 takes on challenging problems in CT system control and image planning, calibration, and robot safety and reliability.
 translates algorithms from academic papers into robust, production-quality systems.
 follows rigorous design control methodology including developing concise requirements specifications, architectural and detailed design, verification and validation plans, and test cases.

Job Requirements

Qualifications
 BS, MS, or PhD degree in Software or Biomedical Engineering, or another related field. Must have 2+ years of practical and/or theoretical knowledge of image processing and the applications of machine learning in image segmentation and regressions models.
 Proficient with C++ and Python.
 Strong understanding of hardware, software, and electromechanical system integration.
 Excellent written and verbal communications and documentation skills.
 Ability to work both independently and as a part of a small team

Desired
 Strong interest in Women’s Health and improving medical outcomes for women.
 Deep understanding of the physics of x-ray medical imaging.
 Medical instrument development (FDA design controls) and industry experience.
