Summary: We are looking for an accomplished software developer with a deep understanding of machine learning to join the Scanner System R&D team.

You will need hands on C++ and Python skills, and in-depth knowledge of image processing.
The ideal candidate
works in a mechatronic engineering team to develop AI-based pre- and post-processing software for the imaging system.
takes on challenging problems in CT system control and image planning, calibration, and robot safety and reliability.
translates algorithms from academic papers into robust, production-quality systems.
follows rigorous design control methodology including developing concise requirements specifications, architectural and detailed design, verification and validation plans, and test cases.
BS, MS, or PhD degree in Software or Biomedical Engineering, or another related field. Must have 2+ years of practical and/or theoretical knowledge of image processing and the applications of machine learning in image segmentation and regressions models.
Proficient with C++ and Python.
Strong understanding of hardware, software, and electromechanical system integration.
Excellent written and verbal communications and documentation skills.
Ability to work both independently and as a part of a small team
Strong interest in Women’s Health and improving medical outcomes for women.
Deep understanding of the physics of x-ray medical imaging.
Medical instrument development (FDA design controls) and industry experience.
