Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the product lifecycle from product launch to obsolescence

  • Contribute to forecasting, with sales and operations input, product line volumes and revenues

  • Assess product line decisions including product enhancements, capabilities, customer experience, etc.

  • Contribute to the development of the product and technology roadmap

  • Develop and coordinate complex non-standard requirements in collaboration with other functions

  • Develop product line service strategy with service department

  • Support advanced training of field service engineers and customers

  • Assist worldwide sales and service with technical support including travel to customer locations, international and domestic

  • Create content for marketing materials including datasheets, product manuals, web site, product memos, tradeshows, newsletters and collateral

  • Travel 25-35%

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years product management, engineering, service or other technical experience in Ultrafast lasers and laser applications, including laser physics, chemistry, etc.

  • Education: M.S. or Ph.D. in laser/photonics applications or equivalent

  • Hands on experience with Ultrafast lasers required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Team player and works well independently and in complex cross-functional, global teams

  • Self-motivated, driven and adept at multi-tasking in demanding situations
